The main parts of a city are:
City centre: It’s the central and usually the oldest part of a city. Sometimes it has a historic district. Outskirts: It’s the area outside the city centre. It can have residential areas, industrial areas and even rural areas.

Other parts of a city: HISTORIC DISTRICT: it has the oldest buildings of the city. It has small houses and narrow streets. CITY HALL: the mayor and city councillors organise the municipal services (health centres, sport centres, police, transport and cleaning)

Other parts of a city: CENTRAL DISTRICT: it has taller buildings and wider streets. RURAL AREAS OUTSIDE THE CITY: they have small towns or villages where people work in animal farming or agriculture.

Other parts of a city: RESIDENTIAL AREAS: they are on the outskirts of the city. INDUSTRIAL AREAS: are also on the outskirts. There are factories and offices. Airports are also near here.

Types of products: NATURAL PRODUCTS: they come directly from nature. They are also known as raw materials. MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS: they are made by people in factories.

In the primary sector, we obtain raw material by mining, farming and fishing.
