There are pros and cons to being in a relationship, and when you are in a relationship, there are both positive aspects as well as drawbacks associated with different levels of intimacy. All of these factors are important to think about. Consent Tomken Health Education

As we saw in the ‘Ladder of Intimacy’ activity, there are a range of intimate behaviours that people can use to show care in a relationship, and different levels of risk associated with different levels of intimacy. Intimate behaviours can include a wide range of activity, such as holding hands, hugging, kissing, touching bodies and genitals, and engaging in sexual intercourse. Consent Tomken Health Education

Consenting at one place and time does not necessarily mean consent remains in

Consent is a whole body agreement that is verbal, physical, and emotional, and it only happens
without manipulation or threats. More than just a verbal yes or no, consent involves paying attention to other individuals involved and checking in with physical and emotional cues. Consent Tomken Health Education
