3 Explore - possibility If there is uncertainty in your response, the language must reflect this. You MAY need to use the conditional form of verbs, using modals… The “verb of possibility” Might, could, should, may…

5 5 minutes in each hat We will carousel round and build ideas for an essay I will copy these to the blog, edmodo and the VLE You will be writing an essay in class next week - 45 minute task. Unlike an argument, EXPLORATION has no fixed outcome – you are not expected to take sides, nor to persuade. The organisation should reflect the sense of “topic grouping” that we used when writing for debate (argument)
