4. Concrete Foreshadowing!
What is it? Objects, people, places, colors, and events These clues are not obvious until you look back!

5. Abstract Foreshadowing
What is it? SENSES!
Thoughts/feelings a character has or the way a character acts
A certain kind of music playing that hints at an upcoming event!
LISTEN! When you hear this kind of music in a movie, what might happen next?

6. Prominent Foreshadowing!
The story starts out at the end and then goes back to the beginning, so you already know what is going to happen, you just might not know how it is going to happen.

7. Evocative Foreshadowing
This kind of foreshadowing uses language that leads the reader on:
“Little did I know…”
“This wouldn’t have happened if only…”
