5
Main scientific goals Trajectories 1 student from ULB + Allick Nelo from EPHEC Meteoroid fluxes automatic detection (PE & 2 students from EPHEC) Observability function (SC, CV) Properties of meteoroid analysis of meteor profiles (speed, deceleration, ionisation, mass, etc…)
6
Additional scientific goals
VLF emissions search for VLF / VHF conjugated events in Humain (with F. Darrouzet) Detection and small-scale structures of solar flares (with ROB) Properties of the upper thermosphere (wind velocities, temperature, etc… with RMI)
7
Meteor radar in Dourbes
BISA Goal : study of meteors, comparison of fluxes with forward & back scatter systems Status : preliminary design done, material is being procured, work should start in summer 2012
8
Access to the BRAMS data
Hervé Lamy Emmanuel Gamby STCE Annual Meeting - 11/05/2010
9
Creation of the spectrograms
Software developed by EG to automatically create spectrograms from WAV files (replace Spectrum Lab) Still a few problems with data from several stations
10
Whistler observations
BISA project Goal: detect Whistler waves with a VLF antenna in Humain Part of an international project AWDANet (Automatic Whistler Detector and Analyzer system’s network) Status : system operational, 3 months of data during last year. Less whistlers than at other AWDANet stations. Contact persons : Fabien Darrouzet, Sylvain Ranvier
