Hypothesis: Individual factors, policing styles and community attributes lead Blacks to be more distrustful of police than Whites Dependent variable: Distrust in police Categorical variable: “not at all,” “a little,” some,” and “a lot”. Please note that the variable is not how much trust but how much distrust.
