AERODAYS Introduction
Following on from successful predecessors that took place in Brussels (1991), Naples (1993), Toulouse (1997), Hamburg (2001) and Vienna (2006) The sixth Aeronautics Days will take place on 30th & 31st of March and 1st April in Madrid The event will bring together aeronautics stakeholders, ministries, agencies and RTD centres from all over Europe and overseas to network, present results and discuss common future RTD projects AERODAYS 2011 will provide a perfect opportunity to present and disseminate information about EU-funded RTD results, and will be in line with the EU goals of creating a Single European Sky, a common area of research and a sustainable aviation for a global environment

Conference Objectives
To link the political “top-down” messages of key stakeholders on the developments in aeronautics and air transport concerning research and innovation To report on the latest advances in aeronautics world-wide and to encourage new partnership in collaborative projects To present technological achievements and ongoing research and technological development by RTD activities from the Framework Programme of the EU, national an international research actions as well as European large scale technology initiatives (JTI Clean Sky, SESAR, GALILEO…) A forum for the review process of meeting the Vision 2020 goals and the Aeronautics Strategic Research Agenda An opportunity to present a view of the future FP8 and the presentation of the ACARE Vision 2050

Near to Barajas Airport and City Centre (easily access by public transport) The facility has a large exhibition area, two auditoriums, an all-purpose hall, and thirty rooms and halls with different capacities
