Shortly after that Mr Jenkins was showered with fruit at Mrs Qureshi’s Uncle’s house – no meat in sight!

We looked around Anarkali market and found Gary’s new bike. It will be with him next week. As we shopped for laminating pouches for the Lyceum we came across the sports mad year 6 teacher buying clothes for school. Does he remind you of anyone?

Tuesday at school Miss Gallagher introduced the children to some games equipment and challenged them to come up with their own games. The children experimented for a while and then started to play their own games. They then showed each other their games and explained the rules.

The children were then introduced to the games that last years Cedar class invented. They read the rules and then collected the equipment before heading off to the playground. They had a lot of fun playing the games and even had some suggestions to improve the games. They were very excited and gave the lesson a big thumbs up.

We had a little time so Miss Gallager explained what
being a vegetarian was all about. Here are some of the children’s responses! The Lady from The British Council told Mr Jon that there was even Veggie food in Lahore. That was a surprise to Mr Jon! Yeah I got it now she eats veggies like, you know beans and cabbage and stuff. Look she’s still normal! You mean she doesn’t eat meat. What’s that all about??? Dunno, but it’s funny right?
