SOE Campaign Priorities Undergraduate scholarships and graduate awards Faculty support – SOE centers, research funds, endowed faculty chairs, faculty development resources Engage alumni – leverage DAC relationships, create and maximize volunteer activities Discovery Learning Center facility and programming Strategic communications and marketing of the School

Development Objectives Finalize $1.5 million gift for literacy education + $1.5 million matching deferred gift Close 10 student scholarship/award endowment gifts of $25k Close 10 deferred gifts at $25k+ Position $1m+ ask for faculty/center support to 2 prospects Complete $100k research endowment honoring retired professor - multiple donors Finalize proposal for $400k gift to WT Grant Foundation Expand volunteer opportunities – Dean’s Advisory Council, GERI Director’s Advisory Board, School Advisory Committee, Purdue Education Alumni Assoc, Ackerman Visitor’s Advisory Board, etc Work w/ faculty to secure research/engagement project funding Continue to implement cultivation strategies w/ top 100 prospects Finalize marketing/communications plan and implement components

Dean’s Advisory Council Activities New Volunteers - 5 new DAC members through current DAC involvement New Prospects - 14 personal visits to new prospects by dean/director of development; several more pending Financial support – gifts from DAC members to Purdue Education do make a difference Sage Advice - implementing input on strategic plan and communication/marketing strategic plan

Future DAC Activities Engaging continuing and new prospects/friends of Purdue Education; facilitating personal meetings Participation in SOE events - 15-year anniversary, Crystal Apple, etc Identify future volunteers for the School Advocacy for education, the School, and Purdue
