Course 2 8-7 Classifying Quadrilaterals Some quadrilaterals have properties that classify them as special quadrilaterals. Here are six major special quadrilaterals. A parallelogram has both pairs of opposite sides parallel and congruent. Both pairs of opposite angles are congruent.
