4 The New Testament constitutes a standard of conduct for Christians (Phil. 1:27, ASV)
We have an obligation to conduct ourselves properly (1 Tim. 3:15) By faith: We are to walk (2 Cor. 5:7) We are to live (Rom. 1:17) By what is revealed in the word of God (Rom. 10:17) We are to walk in a worthy manner (Eph. 4:1; Col. 1:10; 1 Thess. 2:12) We are to be a people holy unto the Lord (1 Cor. 1:2; 1 Peter 2:9)

5 Christians live in the world, but are not of the world (Rom. 12:2)
“Love not the world” (1 Jn. 2:15-17) Let us not forget the principle of separation (2 Cor. 6:14-7:1) Consider the demand for influence Christians are to be an influence in the world (Matt. 5:13-16) How can we influence the world if we are like the world?
