Intravital fluorescence microscopy of follicular grafts at day 10 after transplantation into the dorsal skinfold chamber of pregnant mare serum gonadotropin–synchronized Syrian golden hamsters. Follicles were either cryopreserved 2 weeks before transplantation (A) or directly grafted after isolation (B). The two groups did not differ markedly in terms of the morphology of the newly developed microvascular networks. We used blue light epi-illumination with contrast enhancement by 5% FITC-labelled Dextran intravenously. Bars represent 150 μm.
