15. Commentary
The research phase could be extended to encompass a greater range design ideas, materials used etc, to give a greater depth to this work.
The sketching skills shown in these pages should display techniques such as thin/thick line technique/crating etc expected in the step up to level 2 sketching skills.
There is evidence of good reflective comments here, but to extend to a critically analysed solution the implications of the alternative design ideas and decisions should be explored.
There are a good range of design issues considered and developed here ie construction, size, materials, colour , form etc.
The formal communication of the final solution could be strengthened by using a wider range of different modes ie Orthographic drawings etc.
