2 Purpose To present surgical management and outcomes
of cataract surgery combined with plastics of Urretz-Zavalia syndrome pupil in eyes, which underwent deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK)

3 Material Interventional case series study 4 eyes operated for keratoconus developed Urretz-Zavalia pupil after surgery In all cases anterior chamber was filled with air to achieve better graft adhesion Subjects: 3 men and 1 woman, mean age of 29,5±6,4 years

4 Methods Surgery: 2,8 mm incision coaxial phacoemulsification with Duovisc viscoelastics to protect endothelial cells Pupil was narrowed with two 10-0 Nylon sutures at 3 and 9 (enter via clear cornea)

5 Results Spectacle corrected visual acuity 6 months after surgery was 0,62±0,2, if compared with preoperative 0,39±0,17 Narrowed pupil size with the suture significantly improved vision (p<0,05) Despite of one IOL partial dislocation, there was no compliance for blurred vision ECD, pachymetry, astigamaism were evaluated preoperatively and 6 months after surgery

7 Conclusion Surgical narrowing of Urretz-Zavalia pupil after DALK during cataract surgery is a safe method to improve quality of vision
