A Few Reminders as you actually deal with subjects, teachers, and your experiments…
You are a guest…be gracious! Communicate with me & those allowing you to use their time. Follow the guidelines for INFORMED CONSENT! You will need to address this in your IA. If you are unclear as to what this means, you should do, at MINIMUM, the following: Look in your notes for your understanding of readings, lecture, and rubric expectations for the IA. Read, understand, and remember page 6 of your textbook Review, understand, and remember presentation from September 15, 2017 explaining the components of INFORMED CONSENT! Read, understand, and remember the mentions of ethics within the Internal Assessment rubric (at least 6 mentions…) Account for debriefing your participants Be overprotective of the collection of your data—it’s difficult to “recreate.”
