3 What Does Compassion Mean?
Oxford Dictionary defines compassion as ‘Sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others.’ Self-compassion is helping yourself. Feeling compassionate for another person’s pain.

4 How Can We Show Compassion?
To be compassionate we must: be sensitive to other people’s feelings, emotions and suffering; feel for other people; want to prevent other people from suffering; want to end another person’s suffering; be helpful to others; show warmth to others; care for others; be kind and fair.

5 What Happens When We Are Not?
When we don't act compassionately, we: might not care for other people; might be acting selfishly; not notice other people’s feelings, emotions and suffering; might even cause other people’s suffering; are unhelpful; are cold towards others; are unkind and unfair.
