Loss of detectable antibodies after three on-time doses of quadrivalent vaccine
Loss of detectable antibody titres after vaccination with the quadrivalent vaccine in males happens 1–3 years earlier than the same loss in females. (A) Nearly 40% of men lose all detectable anti-HPV 18 titres within 2 years of vaccination with the quadrivalent vaccine compared with a roughly same loss of anti-HPV 18 titres in women at 5 years after vaccination. (B) Males lose the same proportion of all detectable anti-HPV 6 titres 3 years earlier than females. (C) Males lose the same proportion of all detectable anti-HPV 11 titres 1 year earlier than females.6–9 Red refers to female vaccine recipients; blue refers to male vaccine recipients.
