Name: Ashirali Abdirashidov Mobility level: Post Doctorate Duration: 10 months from till Host university: Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra Home university: Tashkent Islamic University Tashkent Islamic University What have you done during your Mobility? During my study in Slovakia I have written two scientific articles related to it. One of them was “Transformation to eco-friendly consumer goods production and sustainable growth: a case of Uzbekistan” published on April, 2015 and second one was “Consumption towards environmentally friendly consumer behavior: in case of plastic bags” submitted and expected to issue on October, 2015 in Visegrad Journal on Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development. What did this experience mean to you (academically, personally, profesionaly, etc)? I have enriched my both analytical and communicative skills being engaged in various seminars and lectures at host university. Going beyond academic curriculum, I was getting acquainted with European, in particular, Slovakian customs, traditions, and lifestyle through observation and direct participation in different events. Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra How would you describe the impact of your mobility at your home country? Obtaining new paradigms and experiencing a new culture and teaching environment in diverse and multicultural environment I also had opportunity to disseminate my knowledge about Uzbekistan to international students and university staff at my host university though regular meetings which improves their understating of post-soviet transitional economies in Central Asia in example of Uzbekistan.
