The price of this field trip is $13 and students will need to be picked up at the school at 4:00PM. If you have any concerns or questions, please me at Grading and Missing Work: All work is due to me by 3PM on Fridays. If it is not turned into me, it will be counted late. Each day it is late it will be counted 10% off. I had a lot of students not turn in their work throughout the first nine weeks. I was more lenient with this during the first nine weeks and didn't give 0’s. I even reminded students what assignments they were missing. Some even took work home that they were missing. During the second 9 weeks and on, my expectation is for work to be turned in by 3PM on Friday or it is late till it is a 0. I know this is different then my welcome letter, but I have noticed that this is a real struggle for this class, so this is my plan to work on it. When you receive report cards you will notice any missing work. What We’re Learning: Math – We are focusing on Division and Fact Families! Reading – We will be using informational text about the Solar System to explore asking and answering questions, main idea and cause and effect. Science – We are studying the Solar System.
