9 Scholarship Coverage

10 MOE Scholarship MOFA Scholarship tuition fees NT$ 40,000 per semester
Monthly stipend NT$ 15,000 for undergraduate program students NT$20,000 for postgraduate students MOFA Scholarship Monthly stipend of NT$25,000 for the non-degree Mandarin Language Enrichment Program (LEP) and NT$30,000 for degree programs Round-trip economy-class direct flight ticket to and from Taiwan.

12 ICDF Scholarship Monthly stipend of NT$12,000 for undergraduate students, NT$15,000 for master's students and NT$17,000 for doctoral students Expenses, such as tuition, textbooks, room and board, medical and accident insurance will be taken care of by the host school and Taiwan ICDF throughout the program. One round-trip, economy-class flight ticket for the most direct route to Taiwan

Vietnam: Return airfare, insurance and living expenses (USD 420/month) Mekong 1000 Program: Provide by Vietnam Government, including international airfare, miscellaneous expenses, living expenses Danang Program: Vietnam: Stipend, traveling costs, entry-exit fees, health insurance and any incurring costs during the student’s study ECV1000: Provide by Vitenam Government, including international airfare, miscellaneous student expenses and living expenses

Bachelor: Tuition fees or accommodation for 1 academic year (Reapply annually) Master and Doctoral: Full scholarship (covering tuition fees, maximum 12 credits fees/ semester, accommodation fee, and a stipend); Partial scholarship (tuition fees, maximum 12 credits fee/ semester, accommodation fee, and a stipend) (Reapply annually) NPUST Ph. D Scholarship Tuition waiver Stipend of at least NT$ 14,000 per month

16 Eligibility

17 MOE, MOFA & MOST Scholarship
Each applicant shall: possess a high school diploma or higher; have performed well at his/her most recent academic institution and be of good moral character. be neither a Taiwanese national, nor an overseas Taiwanese compatriot. have never enrolled in an educational institution in Taiwan for the same level of degree as the current application. not be an exchange student through an academic cooperation agreement between an overseas university/college and an educational institute in Taiwan.  have no record for being revoked a MOE Scholarship program or other government-sponsored scholarship. Recipients cannot accept any other R.O.C. government-sponsored scholarships or subsidies concurrently with this scholarship.

18 ICDF Scholarship Applicants applying for a Taiwan ICDF scholarship must meet both the general eligibility criteria and be a national of a country on the List of Countries Eligible for Taiwan ICDF Scholarship. Applicants must also meet the Regulations Governing Visiting, Resident, and Permanent Residency of Aliens set by ROC(Taiwan) National Immigration Agency.

19 NPUST Ph. D Assistantship
ESIT Scholarship The scholarship candidates must pass the admission review of the applying consortium university to approve the academic qualifications. NPUST Scholarship Bachelor: Sophomore, Junior and Senior; Average grades 75%/ year or above; conduct grades 80%/ year or above Master/ Ph.D.: MA Year 1 to 2; Ph.D. Year 1 to 4 Average grades 80%/year or above; conduct grades 80%/year or above NPUST Ph. D Assistantship International students who meet the criteria of the MOE regulations on “International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan” and NPUST enrollment regulations.
