2. Introduction
Learning cannot be said to have taken place without a change in behaviour of the leaner. In the same vein, the educational objectives cannot be said to have been achieved without measurement to ascertain the quantified degree to which learning has taken place in the learner. Teachers have always used test to measure what achievement their individual pupils have made in learning.

3. WHAT THEN IS CLASSROOM TEST?
The classroom test is otherwise called teacher-made test or unstandardized test. It is one of the types of test based on the mode of construction. A classroom test is a set of tasks or questions specially designed by the teacher to elicit specified behavioural changes from group learners under a standardized, systematic and organized condition. It is effective in measuring some educational outcomes brought about through the teaching learning process.

4. TYPES OF CLASS ROOM TEST
Verbal or oral test
Non-verbal or written test.
VERBAL OR ORAL TEST
This involves the teacher and the pupils having face
to face interaction by asking questions and answering
them without writing it down. Oral test appeals to the
child’s ability to speak the language of instruction fluently
and accurately. It can be used to introduce a lesson. It
can also be used in the nursery classes where the child
cannot write.
