Began as an IHS/DOD Collaborative Effort
Serves to Offset Costs of Operations by IHS & Tribal Medical and Emergency Management (EM) Programs
Free of Charge to IHS & Tribal Medical and EM Programs

Equipment and Supplies are Obtained from Other Federal Agencies Through GSAXcess and Direct Transfers
Items are Shipped Either to TransAm Warehouse or Direct to Customers
Customers Can Select Warehouse Items from Inventory Lists
Ownership of Items is Transferred to Customer via HHS-22
