1. A VISIT TO THE CITADEL By DAVID AZZOPARDI

2. The Citadel is the old city of Victoria,built by the Grandmasters of MALTA.

3. On the way up one can see some Roman ruins.

4. The Gozo Cathedral is part of the Citadel.

5. There is also the Gozo Court building.

6. The old prison of Gozo is now open for tourists.....like me.

7. It is built by old stones and big Fortified walls.

8. Walking through the narrow roads,one can find St Joseph’s chapel and the Cathedral museum.

9. These are the old bells of the cathedral,the first Gozo hospital and the nature museum.

10. There is a long narrow stairs that lead to the Ditch.

11. Always like to take a photo on the canon when I go up near the Gardjola clock which overlooks the city of Victoria.

12. I go to the citadel often as I make part of the cathedral parish community dedicated to Santa Maria.
