3. You will notice that this is a waterfall but the air is so cold, that the water is freezing on the rocks as it spills over the edge.

5. Old Faithful is in the center of the picture
Old Faithful is in the center of the picture. The background is due to forest fires in the 1980’s, and the foreground was the result of a forest fire 100 years ago. Forest fires are a natural occurrences. For new trees to grow, the pine cone must first be in a fire for the seed to release and grow as a new tree.

7. I believe they called this a finger lake (in the background of the picture). The white background is actually the frozen lake (approximately -40°). The light brown horizontal line in the middle is the shore on the other side of the lake. Foreground has a bison to the left.
