Not an exercise in bureaucracy You are not on your own You do not want to be doing everything Who are you going to ask to help – committee will advise/volunteer Some of tasks may not be required or can be combined Sooner someone assigned sooner task is handed over Producer is a co-ordinator © CUCKFIELD DRAMATIC SOCIETY

Make a task list – be realistic in timings Stage / Lighting / Sound Stage management areas (props & costumes) Raked seating / seat numbering Changing facilities Front of house bar Assign cast and crew to tasks Lunch / refreshments © CUCKFIELD DRAMATIC SOCIETY

Prepare & check attendance sheet for each night Ensure floats for tickets, bar, programmes, raffle, ice cream Collect money at end of each show (coordinate with treasurer) Check with person responsible stock levels are sufficient © CUCKFIELD DRAMATIC SOCIETY

12 Get out Make a task list – be realistic in timings
Assign cast and crew to tasks Don’t have lots of people hanging around Have a single organiser – you – who does no physical work Have bar bills ready and collect from cast / crew Ideally have a couple to drive around collecting posters etc. Make it fun © CUCKFIELD DRAMATIC SOCIETY
