Main conclusions
“Search for information” is the most referred motive for the use of ALEA
“Personal training and learning concepts” is more referred by teachers that do not have math’s qualifications
Teachers with math’s background use ALEA more often
Teachers whose don’t have math’s qualifications give more importance to the contribution of this resource to the learning and teaching of statistics

15. ALEA won the 1st Best Cooperative Project Award
This prize was created within the framework of the International Statistical Literacy Project - ISLP and was granted for the very first time in 2007.
The ISLP aims at promoting statistical literacy worldwide and is led by the International Association for Statistical Education, a Section of the International Statistical Institute – ISI.
The prize was handed during the 56th Session of the ISI, which took place from 22 to 29 August, in Lisbon.
The award recognised ALEA as an example of cooperation among different organizations, towards the promotion of statistical literacy in Portugal.
