If you were a refugee, what are 5 questions you would ask? Answer your questions. Monday Warm-Up: Journal

2 Refugees Document Analysis Activity
You will be reading and analyzing seven different documents, all selected to give you a variety of information and perspectives on refugees and the refugee crisis. All your work goes on notebook paper. Use your handout as a checklist. Work in any order – just check off as you go. Don’t sit and do nothing – at all times, there should be 2-3 additional documents that no one in your group is using. Refugees Document Analysis Activity

3 Tuesday Warm-Up: Read and annotate the poem “Home.”

Complete the Non-Profit Planning: create your name, logo, mission statement, slogan. Assign responsibilities for each component of the project. Fill out the “Needs” section – specifically anything you might need you can’t provide (no guarantees, but doesn’t hurt to ask). Turn your group’s packet into Ms.Yeganegi before you leave. 10 If your group needs to go record, see Ms. Yeganegi for a pass
If your group needs to go record, see Ms. Yeganegi for a pass. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you leave without permission, you will be written up for leaving class. Use your time very wisely. It seems manageable but you can quickly get behind. Don’t leave one person to do all the actual work. Make sure everyone in your group has someone to help them and is held accountable for their responsibilities. PBL Work Day
