2. Competition Dates: District Competition: Saturday, October 21st
State Convention Dates: April 12-14

3. You must audition and make it into the competition team.

4. Criteria for Cameraperson:
Any student interested in participating in competition with the primary role of cameraperson MUST submit the following:
A 2-minute reel with your best work (as cameraperson)
Your work must show a variety of different angles and perspectives
The reel must be presented in a USB drive

5. Criteria for Editor
All students interested in being an editor for competition MUST submit the following:
A 2-minute reel of your most impressive edits
You must show your skills in using effects, graphics, and designs
Submit your reel in a USB drive

6. Criteria for Talent:
All students interested in being onscreen anchors must audition with the following:
On-the-Spot Cold Reading
You will be given 1 minute prep (something written by the anchor)
You will then do a 1-minute cold reading with a piece provided by the judges.
The strongest candidates will be able to shift tones from one reading to another without hesitation.

7. Criteria for Producers
All students interested in producing/directing will submit the following:
A story with a unique angle (You will be given 20 minutes)
You will be asked to complete the story while another audition is taking place.
You will then be asked very specific questions.
