1 I have imported about 80 separate pieces of AVI video.
Cyberlink: I have imported about 80 separate pieces of AVI video. I used mutl-trim to edit the video, Hundreds of hours of video editing. I saved after every import. I saved after every trim. I also SAVED-AS at the end of every work day, So I could go back through my work If there were any problem. Now, all of my work is corrupted. NONE of my saved projects Have any media associated With them. I cannot “start over.” I must recover this work. See the images that follow. Please help!

2 1st I got this error message, but when I clicked OK,
I was still able to save the project.

3 Then I got this error message when I
Re-opened the project. There was the Identical error for EVERY piece of media In the project, 80 identical error message.

This is what I see after I click “IGNORE ALL” to the 80 SEPARATE error messages: “An error occurred trying to open the media file.” The top left shows NO media files, although 80 files had been imported and edited and multi-trimmed. The only thing left in the project is 2 titles I created at the very beginning, which show up in the title track. All other audio and video has been dis-associated. This is what I see in timeline view When I click ‘IGNORE ALL’ to the Error messages. Markers at 0,0,0.

This is what I see in timeline view AFTER I REIMPORT all the video. The video shows up, BUT there are NO CHECKMARKS in the video images (which had been there after I had added the video to the timeline and used multi-trim to trim. As a result: all of the markers in the timeline are set to 0,0.0. This is what I see in timeline view AFTER I re-import all media: media shows Up, but markers still at 0,0,0.

Have tried to get PowerDirector 8 to work on both.
