Copyright infringement vs. trademark
A copyright is an intangible property right given to authors of literacy, artistic, and musical compositions (Brown & Sukys, 2012). A trademark is a symbol, picture, image, name, device, color, or word that a business uses to distinguish itself from its competitors (Brown & Sukys, 2012).

Infringement Yes, taping a television show to use in the classroom is permitted. In the Copyright Law of 1980, section 107 states that multiple copies for classroom use is not considered infringement because it is used for educational purposes.

Conclusion There are other companies incorporating the “H within a broken circle,” but they are using it in their own unique manner. For example, a company HCP, has a design including an “H” within a broken circle and rounded corners with “C” and “P” diagonally down to the right. Other designs are enclosed in a circle with a slash, leaves encircling the stylized letter, and a square separated by a diagonal slash. I do not think the HRTC can use it unless the company becomes inactive on October 30, Another logo would be better to provide a unique brand awareness.
