The Israelites believe that God delivered the Commandments to them through Moses. (Set religious duties toward God and rules for correct behavior.) The Torah set out many other laws from how food should be prepared to punishments for crimes. Judaism and Women Prophets – told the Israelites how God wanted them to live. 6 Because of being exiled, the Jewish people scattered to different parts of the World. But wherever they settled they preserved their heritage.
