Outcomes To be a serious Oxbridge applicant one might typically expect to have 5 or more GCSEs at grade 8, with the rest at grade 7. Russell Group Universities are increasingly competitive. They may have as many as 10 applicants for each place on their most popular courses. Government, Employers & Universities are increasingly looking at a student's Key Stage 4 qualifications.
