Specials:
Please note that all Library books need to be returned by May 22nd for Kindergarten. During our last Library classes, your children will be receiving information about Summer Reading programs at local public libraries.
Our final Math unit includes money, time, and measurement. Our final Language Arts units are titled Red, White, and Blue and Teamwork. .

The 26th of May is field day starting at 9:15 am on the field, followed by the class picnic beginning at 10:40.  You are welcome to join us for field day and lunch (please RSVP) and then take your child home after the picnic. It is a half day of school that day, so if you are unable to attend the picnic or take your child home, he/she can stay for EDP. The Parent Association sold the field day t-shirts. If you missed the opportunity to buy one, just dress your child in the appropriate color t-shirt for his/her team.
Field Trip:
On May 18, we will be going to Indian Echo Caverns leaving at 8:45 and returning around 12:15.
We will eat a picnic lunch at the caverns. Your child will need to pack a lunch including a drink for the field trip.
To Remember
Read at least one book on RAZ Kids each week.
Pack a lunch for the field trip
Send a light jacket and have your child wear jeans and sneakers to the Caverns- (50 degrees inside)
Our last full day of school (i.e. 7:50-2:40) is on Tuesday, June 6th. On Wednesday, June 7th, the children will come to school with you and depart with you after the Closing Ceremony (i.e. 8:00am-9:00am). Children dress similarly to what they wore for the Strings Concert.
