ALERT OUTBREAK Global Epidemic

The Advanced Global Containment Unit (A. G. C. U
The Advanced Global Containment Unit (A.G.C.U.) is compiled of top agents who understand global trends in human behavior, forms of government, religions, climate and topography in the hopes to quell disaster when it arises. Our team of experts (THINK TANK ALPHA) have been ordered to "safe guard" those not yet infected from the recent global epidemic in the hopes of saving certain regions of the Eastern Hemisphere.
4
Situation Report As you are well aware, an unknown epidemic has reached a global threat level. Some nations were able to contain the spread of the epidemic for a short time, but for the past several months the epidemic has grown far past any nation’s government best efforts to contain it. We believe to have lost the Western Hemisphere. That is where we come in. Our team has been charged with the responsibility of containing the spread of the epidemic and establishing “SAFE ZONES” within different regions of the Eastern Hemisphere which we feel can be saved.
5
Situation Report (con’t)
HEMISPHERES: The globe is divided into four distinct regions known as hemispheres. We use the concept hemisphere to talk about larger parts of the world. We know certain parts of the world have fallen dark from the epidemic. LOST THREAT LOST
6
BETA Strand Contagion Beta Strand
The epidemic is caused by a virus of unknown origin. We know the pathogen is NOT air born, but it is yet unclear how humans are infected or how the virus passes from host to host. Because of this, a more aggressive (military) approach to the situation needs to be avoided to reduce loss of resources, equipment and manpower. WE CAN SAVE THE "INFECTED."
7
BETA Strand BLOOD SAMPLES: "NORMAL" Blood Sample
One of our science teams was infected when they tried to collect a blood sample from an infected. They managed to send of sample of blood from an infected before before their site was overrun. "NORMAL" Blood Sample "INFECTED" Blood Sample
8
BETA Strand (con’t) Infected
We know from eyewitness accounts that those infected show increased muscle physique and strength as well as agility. Skin appears pale yellow. Eyes appear deep red.
9
BETA Strand (con’t) Infected (con’t)
Cognitive (Brain) function appears unstable. Specimens infected feel high anxiety and sense of self-preservation against those who appear different than them. Any team who has made direct contact with living specimens has been infected or been lost due to volatile situations. Reasoning with the infected is futile. Avoid contact at all costs.
10
BETA Strand (con’t) Infected (con’t)
Those observed seem to cling to some aspect of their life before the outbreak. Because of this we should be able to predict and track infected migration patterns across the different regions. Our science department is hopeful a cure can be found. In the meantime, we must establish "safe zones" for those not yet infected and begin to relocate said population.
11
We must first focus on the regions NOT yet infected.
INFECTED ZONES (LOST) We must first focus on the regions NOT yet infected.

INTEL COLLECTION THINK TANK ALPHA
In order to be useful, your maps should include six essential components. Look to see what all of your maps have in common. See if your team can complete this mnemonic device: T : O : D : A : L : S : THINK TANK ALPHA
