Percentage of Women in STEM
We can achieve more in science if women are equally involved. Gender equality is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). According to a recent study by UNESCO, 28% of researchers employed in research and development (R&D) globally are women. About 30% was reported for Sub-Saharan Africa.
