2. n Wanya Jermaine Morris was born on July 29, 1973 to Carla Morris and Dallas Thorton. He also considers Jacqueline Thorton to be his mother.

3. n He attended the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and performing arts, where he met Nate, Mike, and Shawn, and the group was formed in 1988. His nickname in Boyz II Men is Squirt.

4. n In March 1989, the group snuck backstage at a concert, and sang for Michael Bivins. The group was later signed to Motown Records.

5. From there they became famous and won lots of awards.

6. n Wanya began dating Brandy in 1997 and they broke up in 1998. Before they began dating, they recorded a song together, called Brokenhearted.

7. n Wanya made his acting debut in a movie called Uninvited Guest, which was released in the Fall of 2000. He is also the father of two children, Benee and Anya.

8. n In February, 2000 Wanya put out Millenium Renaissance, which is his solo album (solo from BIIM, but it features Freddie Fingaz and Will Guice).
