7. Documentation Change! Highly Qualified Special Education Teachers
Teachers certified prior to 1998 SHOULD be able to utilize HOUSSE option #1
Why 1998?
9 years is the maximum amount of time a teacher can work on a Provisional certificate without having earned the total of 18 semester credit hours necessary for either the SECOND PROVISIONAL RENEWAL or the PROFESSIONAL certificate.
