5. The government has guaranteed to underwrite funding for Horizon 2020 projects submitted before Brexit day and up to 2020
However, there is a risk of being excluded from the entire seven-year scientific research initiative Horizon Europe due to start in 2021

The government will also provide funding for successful Erasmus+ applications while the UK is still a Member State

Reviewing and developing responses to the 100 Technical Notices issued by the government to prepare for a ‘no deal’ outcome
Brexit Mitigation Group (BMG)
Assessing the detail of how Brexit could affect the university – from recruitment, retention and status of EU staff and students to mobility, fees, access to research funding and partnerships.
Reviewing and developing responses to the 100 Technical Notices issued by the government outlining how organisations should prepare for a ‘no deal’ outcome. Work plans for these will be finalised by the end of the month.
