1 Writing Assignment Under the American code of justice, an individual is considered “innocent until proven guilty” in a court of law. Your task is to respond to the following question: If you were employed as an attorney, could you [personally] defend someone in court who had admitted guilt to you? Essentially, would you be able to enter a plea of “not guilty” for the individual, and then proceed to battle for their exoneration in a trial? You need to support your position with no fewer than two distinct lines of argument, each with as much concrete evidence as possible (examples, cases, Constitutional citations, etc…). Effective responses will be at least 1 page, and 2 pages will be considered the maximum limit.
