On the front lines for morality
Battle Against Growing Sexual Immorality
3
Moral preferences determine many people’s moral laws.
“The reason we accepted Darwinism even without proof, is because we didn’t want God to interfere with our sexual mores.” [Julian Huxley, atheist] “I was more than happy to latch onto Darwinism as an excuse to jettison the idea of God so I could unabashedly pursue my own agenda in life without moral constraints.” [Lee Strobel, former atheist]

“… But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body” (1 Corinthians 6:13) All illicit sexual activities and relationships are a violation of the nature of God in whose image we’re made.

The physical body was created for an honorable and holy purpose.
Divine commandments are holy, righteous and good (Romans 7:12). “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.” (1 Corinthians 6:18) All unlawful gratification of sexual pleasure, such as adultery, homosexuality, etc. Galatians 5:19

The physical body was created for an honorable and holy purpose.
“… having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness” (Ephesians 4:19)

Marriage has been devalued in our society. Unloving and unfaithful treatment of a spouse is a treacherous act (Malachi 2:14, 15). “Because of immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband.” (1 Corinthians 7:2)
