2 Click the Insert Tab to insert an equation

3 Click the equation tab in the upper right to insert a new equation

4 To use subscripts, use the “Script” button in the “Design” tab (only open when editing the equation)

5 Finished calculations should look like this

6 Insert superscripts like this

7 Final reactions made in equation builder should look like this

8 You can also write equation using normal text
Make sure to use superscripts and subscripts by clicking here.

9 Final reactions should be balanced and utilize subscripts and superscripts
