Step 1: List List all Stats to be collected and Reported
Determine what e-stats need to be gathered Ask yourself the following questions: What is the purpose of this report? Will this data be useful and beneficial? Who needs to review and receive this data?

Step 1: List cont. My list started with the following stats:
Subscription Databases Purchased Databases Renewals E-Books Pay Per View (PPV) Discovery Service (EBSCO EDS) Digital Commons (Institutional Repository) Journal Subscription Packages

Step 2: Determine Dates Consider the Timeframe
Determine the due date/deadline Consider how long it will take you to complete the report Will it take you a week, a month, or longer to gather the data? Be generous with the collection dates Good idea to document completion dates

Step 3: Evaluate & Reevaluate the Schedule
The schedule is not all-inclusive Adjustments to dates will be made frequently Remember to adjust and revise prior to the beginning of the next year/schedule You will find that each year more reports will be added, but always go back to Step 1 (Purpose)!
