guógē 国歌 National Anthem 义勇军进行曲 March of the Volunteers Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof thru the night that our flag was still there. 星条旗 The Star-Spangled Banner Originally translated as "Volunteers Marching On",[13][14] the English name references the several volunteer armiesthat opposed Japan's invasion of Manchuria in the 1930s; the Chinese name is a poetic variation—literally, the "Righteous and Brave Army"—that also appears in other songs of the time, such as the 1937 "Sword March". Both about wars fought for protecting the territory the country "The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States of America.
