1 Famous FFA or 4-H Member Create an informational poster about a famous FFA or 4-H member. You must answer the following in a “Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How” format/ Who is this? The name of the FFA member. What makes this person famous? When were they alive? When were they a member of the FFA or 4-H? Where were they a member of the FFA? Where did they live out most of their life? Why did you choose to find out more about this FFA or 4-H member? How do you think the FFA made them a better leader and person? You must include at least two photos, as well. You could do this on powerpoint, microsoft, create an infographic on piktochart, or just do this by hand (however you will need to print the images)  This will be a portfolio assignment.

While at Michigan State University, I had the opportunity to hear Sherman Alexie speak. I went to Pow Wows and watched “Smoke Signals” at a Native American film festival. I fell in love with his work. Sherman Alexie (October 7, present) Alexie is a Native American from the Coeur d’Alene tribe and grew up on a reservation in Washington. He left the reservation to attend school and was the president of the FFA at Reardon High School. He was the only Native student in his school. He went on to Gonzaga and then Washington State University.
