Detection of the −1562C/T mutation in MMP9 by PCR/restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis. The 436-bp PCR product was restricted with SphI. The C allele is not restricted, whereas the T allele yields products of 244 and 192bp. M=50-bp ladder (NEB).
