First, carefully read through the paper from start to finish. Make notes regarding anything you notices the first time through. These may include: Spelling Awkward wording Unclear information/ vague words Mistakes using grammar, mechanics, etc. Peer Review

Peer Review Thesis: Highlight the thesis
Is their thesis the last sentence of their introduction? What revisions would you make to their thesis? Does it fully answer the prompt? Prompt: What is one social or controversial issue related to your future career and how could someone in that career address this issue? Peer Review

Peer Review Topic Sentences? Evidence
What revisions would you make to their topic sentences? Evidence Do they have more than two quotes? If so, mark the two strongest quotes. Did they cite their sources correctly? Do they have at least 6 pieces of evidence? Does their evidence clearly support their thesis statement and topic sentence? Do they introduce their evidence? What revisions would you make to their evidence? Peer Review

Do they have a hook and a summary section in their introduction?
What revisions would you make? Do they have a strong conclusion? Did they restate their thesis correctly? Do they have effective transition words/phrases throughout their paper? Write three things this person did well. Write two things they should improve. Peer Review
