Key Findings
Large proportion of LRs& BRs were at high temperatures for long periods despite cool summer conditions!
Overheating was generally more problematic in the bedrooms!
Top floor flats and recently built dwellings (post 1990) are significantly at higher risk of overheating!

Pre 1919 and solid wall properties are significantly cooler during summer!
7% of the dwellings in the nationally representative sample were heated!
BSEN15251 adaptive thermal comfort standard may not be appropriate for the domestic application!
