2. What’s the role of your local branch?
Local branches work create a social, educational, and political environment where students can contribute and fulfill their potential. They represent international students to local student organizations, school administration, ISU’s National Assembly and National Board

3. Local Branch President
Connects the Local Branch to the National Board and is the face of the local branch Responsible for the operation of the branch In no way superior to the other board members

4. Vice President / Treasurer
Makes a budget and plan of action together with the leader, and has access to the finances. Acts as the President when the President is absent

5. Secretary
Not the President’s personal secretary Makes sure that tasks are distributed accordingly Assists the board with day-to-day activities Keeps record of the meeting minutes

6. Information Director/Social Media responsible
Marketing and advertising of upcoming events Works closely with the Information Director to ensure students are aware of the activities coming up

7. Welfare Director / Student Affairs
Monitor the social life and wellbeing of students Initiate joint events with other student organizations Comes up with ideas for events

8. Photographer
Documents the events (Pictures, Videos) Handles social media Creative work

9. Things to remember
Present a written report on their activities to the NA Promote a case in the NA A right to ask questions to the EB A Local Branch represents all international students at their institutions, and ANY student can run for a position on the board You cannot serve in the National Board and in a local branch at the same time

10. Things to remember
Regional Cooperation Groups (RCG) Invite an impartial party to your local branch election No board position is superior than the other
