Week 2 (May 21– May 27, 2018)
Accomplishments:
Received code from Kangsoo & began modifying for second version of experiment
Met with Kangsoo to discuss how he performed the first experiment (start to finish)
Determined finalized “version” of research project concept
Completed CITI Training – necessary to perform studies through UCF involving humans
Continued to become familiar with Unity
Decided on scenario to create for the study – medical
Problem & Solutions:
Virtual agent appearance struggles
Kangsoo left for an internship on Wednesday and won’t be back until mid-August, so I don’t have direct contact with him anymore.
Plans for next week:
Begin researching healthcare-related IoT devices that could be imitated using the Wizard of Oz Effect
Come up with general procedure for study
