The Way In the book of Acts, the Scriptures use the term “The Way” to describe what we often call Christianity. In Acts, “The Way” is the way of salvation, a persecuted way, and the only way to eternal life.

Luke’s words for “Christianity” in Acts
He calls it “the kingdom of God” six times (8:12; 14:22; 19:8; 20:25; 28:23, 31) He refers to it as “the faith” five times (6:7; 13:8; 14:22; 16:5; 24:24) He calls it “The Way” at least six times (9:2; 16:17; 18:25-26; 19:9, 23; 24:14, 22)

“The Way” It is the way of salvation (Acts 16:16-17)
It is a holy way (Isaiah 35:8) It is an undefiled way (Psalm 119:1-3) It is the way of truth (Psalm 86:11) It is a persecuted way (Acts 9:2; 19:9, 23; 14:21-22) It is the only way (Acts 24:14; Matthew 7:13-14)
